time gets away...

or does it? I can't really say that I've been up to much of anything but then again- I find myself running around with my head cut off all the time. We're still doing football 3 days a week with ballgames every Sat. morning and still getting clobbered but HEY we're having a blast watching those boys play their heart out. They're so young. There are 13 on the team- one 4th grader, 2 3rd graders, and the rest are in the 2nd. Just about every single one of them is playing football for the first time ever. We show up to games and the other team is every bit of a head taller than everyone on our team. Our jaws drop thinking those kids can't be the same age as our kids are... Cody is doing great and is determined to get a touchdown b/f the season is over... we shall see.
Jaima starts indoor soccer soon, now Cody has decided he wants to play so the chaos will cont. through the winter. I feel like I have enough equipment in the back of my van to open my own sporting good store.
Jamie and I are still playing softball every Fri for the church. It's so much fun to fellowship with our new church family. They are great people.
Fall is in the air- VA is great- and the holidays will soon be here to spend with our family in AL. I miss them so much. This is my favorite time of the year. It just seems like this time of the year snuck up on me. I think about next year and it's so nice knowing that we aren't planning a move. I feel like we've been doing that for the last 3 yrs... so nice knowing we might can actually plan a few weeks in AL for the summer time to do nothing but CHILL with family. I like going home for the holidays but they're so rushed and it feels like we really don't get to visit.
Remember- our doors are always open. We love to have company. I hear many say they'll come see us and never do- so start making those plans to come visit with us...
