until we have to say Good-bye once again. It seems like we just said good-bye- wait a minute- we did not even a year ago yet! The time here in WA has gone by so fast. So much has happened in such a short time. The packers come Tues-Thurs. Then, they put it all on the truck to head east on Fri. We plan to leave the west coast on Sun. The house is a chaotic mess... YES it really is for those of you that always say that my house is clean. It's dusty and the floors are about to drive me crazy but what good does it do when we're getting the house ready to pack up. I pretty much keep the bathrooms clean... I cannot stand a dirty bathroom- NOPE that toilet has to be clean!
Pics are off the walls, rugs are washed and rolled up, and I'm the first to admit that when I have the packers pack my stuff- I totally have OCD when it comes to organizing to pack it up. All my framed photos and artwork has to all be piled against a wall together, all my artificial greenery, baskets, black iron work, candle holders of all sorts, photo books, blankets, curtains and rods, hmmm what else... oh and the candles if they say that they'll sneak them in there. Most packing companies won't ship candles. But, yes I like for it all to be packed and labeled together. Makes it easy on the other side. Speaking of unpacking on the other side. When I was discharged from the hospital on Tues. I was told no heavy lifting or streneous activities for 6 weeks... I really have to have a talk with the Doc on Fri when I go in for my check up. How do they expect me NOT to lift a finger?
Anyway- I've loved living here in WA. I never in my life would have ever thought I'd get the opportunity to live in the west... I miss the south but MAN this western environment will be something I will remember forever. I'm thankful to be able to live in such a beautiful place even if it was for less than one year. It was worth the trip from the east to the west last Aug and now we get the oppportunity from the west back to the east. I cannot wait for this family road trip. We are going to have a blast and see some beautiful country side. I'll be sharing it here on the blog- so keep checking in...
Maybe my next post will be to give an official Good bye to WA... until then- please keep our family in your prayers.
