Tonight Jamie is on a date with Cinderella... It's the Daddy-Daughter Date Night. He took her out to dinner and then joined some friends from church at the dance. She looked so pretty and grown up. This was the conversation with my son after he shouted "Let's party!" when they walked out the door....
Me.... "what do you want to do now?"
c..... "well what I want to do you wouldn't want to do."
Me.... "well what is it?"
c..... "Play the dart war game."
Me.... "Well, ok- let's go."
It was fun- we geared up with the chest plates on and our dart guns in hand. We turned off all the lights in the house and hid from eachother as we quietly try to find eachother. Whoever shoots the other and gets a dart to stick to a target on the chest plate scores. I have to say that it wasn't easy hiding b/c we had THREE chihuahua's chasing us around and barking at us with the guns as we creep around. It was a give-a-way. As I was dodging a dart I ran smack into the corner of the door frame and bruised my arm really bad and turned my ankle over so that game came to an end.......... BUT IT WAS FUN and I think I surprised the heck out of C when I said I would play this game with him. LIVING LAUGHING AND LOVING!!!!!!!!!!!!

This made me laugh out loud! I can so see you running into the door frame. The things we do for our boys! Lately I have been a gladiator since Noah's new thing is American Gladiators, since their resurfacing! We both wear capes and anything we can find for helmets (bowls, baskets)! Too fun!
Oh! And Jaima is sooooo pretty! Lucky Jaime!!
