Sharing some fall memories...

Today we took a hike down Bull Run Trail located right here in Manassas, VA. It was gorgeous and just the right weather to enjoy this fall day. While hiking along the river, we stopped to fish.

Jaima walked right up on a black snake. We also enjoyed a nice picnic beside the river. After the picnic, I found myself lying there with my eyes shut listening to the sound of the wind blowing, the creek flowing, birds chirping, leaves falling, the kids climbing trees & skipping rocks- all while laughing and having a good'ol time... it was music to my ears.

On Sat. we took a trip over to DC to visit the National Zoo. They have this rope that the orangutans can roam throughout the park. It was neat to watch them dangle over our heads. The pandas were so cute. The weather was perfect.

On Fri. The kids went trick or treating- then we ended our night hanging around our fire pit with some neighbors sipping hot chocolate, eating Brunswick stew, and roasting marshmallows until late.

These are some fall photos I was able to capture over the weekend... thought I'd share-
