Random things to share...

I have more than one thing to share about so I thought I'd wrap it all up in one post... Summer is coming to an end- WOOHOO! I love fall. The weather is getting cooler, the kids go back to school, sport season starts- which means I'm very busy running around but I love it. Love-love fall!

This past weekend we went "tent" camping out at Westmoreland State Park here in VA. This park was located on the shores of the Potomac River. It took us about 2hrs to get there. It was a gorgeous park. It seemed like all we ever did was eat but when we weren't eating... we went on a hike, fishing, kayaking, and swimming. They had this beach called Fossil Beach. We had to hike about half a mile to get to this beach but boy was it gorgeous once we arrived. It was b/t two cliffs. We walked the beach and sifted for fossils and shark teeth... we were able to collect a few things like sea glass, shark teeth, fossilized bones, and some other fossil like things... It was a great weekend get-away. I'm sharing a web album of our weekend memories. We went with some friends that live in our neighborhood... that's who you'll see in the photos as well.

SCHOOL STARTS.... I cannot believe it's time but WOOHOO! I can't believe that Jaima is in middle school now. This is the first year the kids aren't in the same school. Jamie and I realized that it will be the last time they are in the same school until Jaima is a senior in HS!!!! Which means until then- I'll be tag teaming b/t 2 different schools. I'll share pics of their first day off to school.

Jaima has been wanting me to share a pic of her new little creature... so you'll find a pic of "IT" as well. Her name is Cotton and OH MY is she noisy!!


So, I'm home alone now all day long- preparing for the chaos in the afternoons... homework, dinner preparation's, practices for sports... fun fun fun!
