Football...

Thought I'd share a few shots of Cody at football pract. I've not been able to capture a whole lot- but I plan to share more action shots later... the season has only just begun- so YES there will be plenty more football shots. This is Cody's first year at tackle. The coach has him playing running-back. He said that Cody is one of the fastest on the team and he needed him to run the ball. Well, that's great and all but that just means the other team will be chasing the ball and eventually he's going to get tackled when he runs the ball- so that means my little man will end up at the bottom of a pile of boys. I have to remind you that Cody isn't big at all- a whopping 52 lbs- so say a prayer with me that he remains safe this football season. I was nervous in the beginning and always said that my boy wouldn't play football. NO I cannot believe that I would say that considering I was a cheerleader on the sidelines for 10 1/2 yrs. I'm excited about the season- so is Jamie- I have to remind him to stay calm from the sideline. I might even have to tie his arms, he gets really excited needless to say. Well- here are the pics.
