Still have it?

so we're settled and back into the swing of things... REALLY back into the "swing" of things...
Jamie has been playing softball with the church league and now they've recruited me. It has been so long since I've played but they needed players b/c most of the others were either injured of out of town. I get all pumped to play- even go out on Mon afternoon to hit a few balls with Jamie and the kids. I did very well considering I haven't played in over 10 yrs... Then lo'& behold- I try to sneak down into the basement to scare Cody while he's playing his PS and I slip on the stairs and I'm positive I broke my toe. BUT I was still determined to play softball. I took Motrin and even put some Bengay on it b/f the game. It actually worked during the game but as soon as I took my shoes off- my toe was purple. I guess that's what I get for trying to scare my little man... but he's always trying to scare me in the house so that's why I tried getting him.
The softball game was fun. I did make it around the bases quite a few times. I played in the right field hoping none would come to that side and what do ya know... just about every player they had were lefty's so the odds were there for me to get a pop fly... but nope not one single one. Boy- was I lucky! Now I'm pumped for the next game on Fri... I hope they need me again. I'm ready for it. 32 and still got it... well maybe just some- I blame it on the HURT TOE!
