WOW it's been a while...

since I have blogged anything. In fact- looking at my last post it was right after we made our move to WA. Well, here it is almost a new year and I want to get back to this blog more often. I love to blog...it's neat. I'll also start sharing links to the side of my post to some photo snapshots. Just click on each link and check out the many photos you can view. Be sure to hit the back button to get back to the blog page. It has been an interresting few months since my last post. I was busy unpacking the whole first part of Sept... then Labor Day I got a phone call that my brother was in a really bad motorcycle wreck and it seemed like my blogging day came to a halt b/c I literrally didn't have anything else in my life to talk about BUT those many days I was praying and begging you all to pray for him to pull through while he lay there in the Trauma Unit at UAB. Jamie was deployed during this period so I was an emotional wreck. My brother is home now and doing well and SO IS JAMIE... he was not suppose to be home until the end of Jan. but he was sent back from deployment due to some medical reasons... and just recently he was medically submarine disqualified. We are hanging out here in WA still until the end of Feb for sure. All I can pray for now is for God to make some miracle to happen that whatever job it is now that Jamie will be doing will keep us here in WA.... I love it here. I really really do! Even the rain is beautiful. I've caught myself having a sense of cabin fever once- even felt down and depressed but IT IS WHAT YOU MAKE OF IT is what I finally decided. I got my Christmas cards out... shopping almost complete... and can't wait for Christmas morning. We will be waking up in our own home and having Christmas here with just us two and the kids. It's cool BUT I am going to miss waking up at my mom and dads Christmas morning. We will be flying home on the 28th to stay for a week... so it's not like we aren't going to spend time with them for the holidays... just not Christmas morning.
