Our Journey WEST!

Everything went well last week with the packers. They left with our stuff on Fri. They plan to deliver in WA on the 22nd. We left Sat around noon. So far so good. Keeping my fingers crossed. I honestly feel like God is by our side for this journey. I've not really had anything to worry about that hasn't worked itself out so far. I'm keeping the Faith and know that in the end it will all be ok. Well...here is the rundown so far as we head west. We drove close to 700 miles on Sat and made it south of Cleveland for the night. Got up early Sun morning and drove 650 miles to this small town in WI. I have to say that I'd rather drive through NYC any day than to EVER go back through Chicago. That was pure HELL! Not to mention I thought I was going to wet on myself. This morning (Mon) we got up and drove around 600 miles across MN and SD. It was such a beautiful drive. There was just acres and acres of farmlands as far as you could see. As we got closer to SD there were hills then it was just flat with prairies all of a sudden. The praries started looking as if the earth had sunken craters instead of mountains. Imagine walking on flat land and then a huge drop off...tonight we are in Keystone, SD. We are getting into the Rockies. We plan to see Mt. Rushmore tomorrow then head over to Cody, WY to check out the old western towns in that area. Wed morn we will head over to a cabin I have rented for us for three nights about 3miles from the eastern entrance to Yellowstone. I can't wait. My parents are great and boy do I own them. Mom is keeping me company and dad is alone as he pulls the Uhaul. She keeps asking me to let her drive but I know if she does I'll sleep and this trip is just too pretty to sleep. She did drive for about 30min this afternoon so I could get some pics of the view. So...YES I have drove for the last three days for those many many miles now and still going. I feel like all we do is ride, munch, pee, and eat meals. I am at least doing my sit-ups and squats at night b/f bed. The kids are doing great and Sugar is sleeping the whole way. We laugh at her b/c she'll sit and look out the window and the next thing we know she's falling over asleep. The elevation is getting the best of the kids allergies. J is having to use her inhaler for her asthma and I had to stop and get meds for C b/c of his stuffy nose. This falling back hours as we head west is hard to get use to. Right now it's almost midnight on Mon but my body and eyes are telling me it's 1 in the morning so I better go now. Thanks for reading this. I wish I had pics but those will come later. OH I have finally heard from Jamie again and he's doing really good. Take care all until next time...GOD BLESS
